Seattle Mom Blogs was founded in August, 2007 by Jenny Blackburn, Kathryn Thompson, and Eve Good. It changed administrators in January of 2009 to where Michelle and Laura (of mamaspod) and mrsflinger (of catapultwebdevelopment) took over the back-end maintenance. Shortly after Carrie (of Stop Screaming I’m Driving) came on board as editor. We’re expanding the site Our membership is steadily growing and includes the major mom bloggers in the greater Seattle area. The Seattle Mom Blogs network has a strong presence, voice, and community. Our Mission
Seattle Mom Blogs is a place where Seattle-area moms come together to share stories and ideas, talk about local venues and resources, and have a great time.
We actively promote and support our members’ blogs, and provide support and encouragement for moms who are just getting started with blogging.
How it works
Seattle Mom Blogs publishes content from local mom bloggers on a variety of topics. We actively support our members and contributors by linking to their blogs and posting their profiles on our site. We have a members-only email group where our members can share ideas, gossip, and support, and we host regular meet and greet sessions at local venues where blogging moms can get to know each other and have fun!
