The Sweet Spot gets my vote! I love it’s amenities like the hot tub, large porch and ocean view! What a lovely lovely sounding place. Even if we don’t win the free give-away… we definitely would like to go to Seabrook, as it sounds WONDERFUL! :-)

We drove by Seabrook last month and I hadn’t realized that was where it is (near Moclips). Cute for what it is.
I’d not turn down a free stay! The Sea Otter is cute :-)

Ocean Song w/ Writer’s Loft (Call to Exclude Loft)

It has a writer’s loft! That’s the one for me. :)

  5. Sara says:

I am a first time mom-to-be and after the baby is born I would love to take a mini vacation… is that wishful thinking? I also own a business and work everyday with my mom. She is wonderful and deserves a mini vacation too. I would love to have the grandparents join us and be able to bond with their first granddaughter in the Weldin House. The dog-friendly fenced yard and hot tub sold me!

  6. Jean Clark says:

Well, we don’t have a family of small children anymore (hope to again some day) but we do LOVE to spoil our nieces and nephews and our large dog baby would certainly enjoy a good romp at the beach so I choose Weldin House. It has a hot tub, room for teenage nieces and nephews and our dog and the beauty of the community and the beach.

We’ve had several home and family challenges lately and would love the chance for a beach get-a-way weekend.

It’s so hard to choose! Seabluff looks great–that porch!–the open kitchen!! Sign me up!

  8. homejewel says:

Central Park with Carriage sounds like the perfect getaway for our large family. It’s been a while since we’ve been able to get away from the hectic life of school/work. What appealed to me most was the the accommodations, no pets allowed (allergies!), and all the extras. Hot tub, porch, beautiful kitchen, King bed – YES, YES, YES!!!

  9. Bree says:

I love Beach Break. Two porches = heaven. Hot tub=double heaven. Having more bathrooms than bedrooms? Whoa. How fun to be right on the trail to the ocean, too.

  10. Jenni P says:

Our Family Beach House – right on the park.

  11. Danielle says:

I love the Hodgepodge Lodge because it reminds me of those New England red barns we left behind on the East Coast. Plus, it’s at a great location right off the beach and forest trails. Since it’s pet-friendly, we could also bring our cat! The West Coast branch of our ‘family’ is spread out from Los Angeles up to Vancouver; it would be nice to get a whole group together for a nice beach weekend in this spacious cottage.

  12. KYouell says:

Shifting Gears! Oh, please, a vacation where we can invite The Grandma’s and yet we aren’t on anyone’s “home turf” — imagine the sweetness.

  14. Amy Laybourn says:

Wow, I’d love to stay at Pacific Idyll w/ Carriage House. Why? Ocean views, carraige house to put the grandparents in, and the 3rd floor game room rocks!
    Hope I’m the winner!

  15. Kelly says:

Hodgepodge lodge sounds incredibly relaxing. Myself and two other friends are expecting their second babies soon. We could all take our baby moon’s together, what fun! Travel isn’t going to be easy or plentiful soon. This sounds like just what we need. We love finding little spots we can return to over and over again.

  16. Diana says:

They all looked fantastic, makes it hard to choose! Have to go with Beach Time though. Being close to the beach is the best!

  17. Linda says:

All of your cottages look GREAT but I liked Sea’s the day. I would like to win for my daughter. We are in the process of moving our preschool, her birthday is 6/29, and she is going to have her first baby in August. She and her husband have been working really hard and need a break. Thanks for the opportunity.

  18. Kristin says:

The Sandpiper is my personal favorite cottage. It’s small and peaceful but big enough to be comfortable and relazing. Not to mention the beach is five minutes away. We in the Northwest love to walk and be outside and it’s in the perfect location to walk everywhere we need to go. I just love this cute little cottage the perfect beach getaway!

I also posted on my blog about this.

I would just love to win, this would be so neat the perfect getaway from college, work and the baby!

  19. Carrie says:

I think for our family, the Sea Otter would be great! Still need that wireless internet, but close to a beach trail. Hurrah!

  20. Kristin says:

I took a look at their site and saw a few of the cottages, but really I found it hard to navigate the site. :-(
While I would love a vacation there, but I didn’t enjoy looking at the site.

  21. Daring One says:

I love so many of them. It’s too hard to choose one!

There are so many nice cottages! I think I’ll pick Sand in the Toes. My kids would love the bunkbeds, and I would love the master suite and hot tub!

  24. Jenn says:

Our Family Beach House sounds fabulous! It has everything our family could want…. close to nature trails, the playground across the street and the beach not to far away. For me the hot tub and heavenly beds seal the deal!

  25. tracy says:

    test

  26. Nads says:

The Hodgepodge Lodge looks great. Play room upstairs for the kids, hot tub, close to trails and even the dog can come with us. Looks perfect!

  27. Sandra says:

Katya’s Cottage…just enough room for a weekend with me, myself and I. Heaven. (And perhaps another girlfriend who needs to get away too. :-)

  28. Erin says:

    I’d like a freebie!

  29. Noreen says:

The Sweet Spot would be perfect. My inlaws are coming for the first time since we moved almost 3 years ago. We were planning on taking them to ocean shores but tomorrow I am going to suggest seabrook. We will be going to celebrate my youngest 3rd birthday (they last came when she was 8 weeks old) and their 39th anniversary. We would have the perfect vacation, walks along the beach, bike rides with our two little girls (we would bring their bikes), bbq, play in the sand box, explore seabrook, and even sneak out for a moonlite walk with my husband while Grandma puts the princesses to bed.

  30. All Adither says:

Yep, Seabluff. But this marketing plan is brilliant. I stayed on their site for 45 minutes checking it all out. Any one of them would be awesome.

  31. Jaime says:

There are so many nice cottages to choose from! I wil pick Sand in the Toes. The master suite and hot tub was too divine!

  32. Elizabeth says:

I’d love to stay at Leahs Lighthouse with Carriage House. Our family would love to go to the WA shore (we’ve never been and Seabrook seems like the ideal place to go on the shore!) and bring some family and friends. Wow, that would be a treat. It would be an amazing vacation for us as we don’t have the resources to do this type of thing otherwise. My daughter would LOVE it. I would too!

  33. Stacy says:

Sweet spot for us, please! :)

    Sounds lovely.

  34. Jill says:

I’d love a beach get away! I’ve looked at Seabrook info online and I’d love a chance to “try” it out! Thank you

  35. says:

Ooh, I’ll take the Ocean’s Song with the writer’s loft. I’m loving the loft and it’s also big enough for our yearly getaway with three other couples and our kidlets. We haven’t been brave enough to travel far from home yet, but maybe this is the year!

  36. Carrie says:

I linked to it here: http://growingababyinseattle.blogspot.com/2008/05/great-contest.html

  37. Jill says:

Wow… the Seabluff at Seabrook …. the wrap around deck and a cup of coffee in the crisp morning…. it would be a little slice of heaven right here in Washington!

  38. Jessie says:

I have to say the Sweet Spot Cottage. The porches, the sandbox, the double mater suites, the open great room, ocean views…I’m drooling! This cottage is luxury I’ve never known!

  39. Tracy says:

Once Upon a Time sounds like it would be perfect for my four kids. Sounds wonderful!

  40. sizzle says:

I used to live two blocks from the ocean and it was the BEST place ever because I got to start every day with a walk on the beach and end every day with the soothing sounds of the ocean outside my window. I miss it!

  41. ken says:

Into the Woods is my favorite. i’d love to sit in the hot tub in the evening and shower under the stars!
    -k

  42. Casey says:

It is so hard to choose. I’d probably go for the Seabluff for the views!

  43. LD says:

My dream cottage is simple. It involves my dh & dd by my side. Spending time away from cell phones, internet & work. It involves quality time sitting in a hot tub, roasting marshmellows, taking strolls at dusk through the rainforrest to suddenly find yourself on the beach. The cottage would be filled with things to do we all love. Toys for the little one. Books to get lost into for mom and a big flat screen for dh. It would have a large front porch to kick our feet up and discuss the joys of life. I could go on and on but again any cottage would do as long as I had my loving family by my side.

  44. Erin says:

    Another Seabluff Fan!

  45. Jen says:

Oh, they all look wonderful! But Seabluff caught my eye… :-)

  46. Monique says:

Wow! Maybe it’s just my excitability, but choosing one was way too difficult for me!
I’d see one that could be “it” and then I’d read espresso machine in another, hot tubs galore, space for the minions… *sigh*
I’d greedily relish a night in each cottage!

I’m really thankful for SMB, I still feel like a complete Washington noob. I’m learning about a lot of different things and places from this blog. Thank you!! :D

  47. Rachel says:

Ooooh! This sounds like quite a haven. Please enter me.

  48. kitty says:

Seabluff at Seabrook because of its view high on a bluff overlooking the Pacific. Seems like paradise!
