We’re having a quiet New Year’s Eve tonight. We have one pregnant woman in the house (me), a grown man and a three-year-old. Let’s all hope we can just stay awake until the fireworks go off.
What are you doing to bring in the new year?

Aww cool photo. The first few years of the twins’ life was like that. The hubby and I would doze off, wake back up shortly after 12:00, wish each other a Happy New Year and promptly fall back asleep.
This year we’ll have a few friends over for fun and Wii battle and maybe a cocktail
Very cool photo! Still after many years, we do what Stacey said…we fall asleep, wake up right before the New Year, mutter something, then promptly fall back asleep! This year our 5-year old SWEARS he is staying up the whole time! He might just be the one that breaks our cycle and helps us ring in the New Year a little more coherently! Have a safe and happy one everyone!!!
Ha ha, we have certainly had our share of quiet nights in for New Years! Tonight is slightly more exciting than the last three — we are ordering in Zeeks, then have g-ma and g-pa babysit for a bit so we can go to party (a block or so away, but at least its out of the house!). But I am fairly certain we will not last until midnight. Sleep is still too precious around here!
