I don't think I'm there yet but I can definitely see how this can happen.
Maybe being armed with this info will help me to never get to that point.

Ah! It feels so good knowing I'm not alone and there's help on the way! However, I just took a week off for vacation and now I feel more lost and overwhelmed than ever!

Sign me up! I regularly have psychotic breaks from blogging.

It seems like every 4 months or so I completely stop blogging for a month. Call them bloggy sabbaticals.

Once I take the break, get over the guilt, everything is good and I start blogging again. I used to feel guilty about these breaks. For sure I would lose at least half my readers, but again my priority is my family, my life and my sanity.

Blogging should enhance or at least peacefully co-exist with those entities. If not, blogging is not healthy. Just take a break! A clean break! Cold turkey.

Then come back when you are ready. The readers will come back eventually too. But you can never get that time with your family back.

I guess the key is moderation. I guess I could be a bloggy chiropractor taoo, eh? The painful, breaking kind.
