I know you will find others that pull at your heartstrings. We all get tired of this phrase, but "there is a reason for everything." I was excited to think that you and Bill would take two kids because I always hear adult kids who were in the "system" talking about the loss of a sibling. My thoughts are with you. And no, it's not ridiculous for you to have fallen in love with those children. You are so ready to be a mom, you felt like a mom, and now you can't be a mom to those two. You will, however, be a great mom to some other lucky child(ren). You'll find others. They will never be the same as your first, but you'll love them just the same. Hang in there!
