Friday Blogger Round-up in Seattle

Posted by Eve Good On November - 2 - 2007

I’ve been thinking about the bloggers I’m linking too all week. There is a sobering theme to each of them. Seattle Mamacita has experienced some heart breaking news recently, and as her last post was a week ago today she is still trying to recover.  Please stop by and show your support. I read some of her older posts as well and love her lyrical writing style. I know many of you understand her pain and have been through similar experiences. Lucy from An Ordinary Mom wrote a helpful and touching post on the same subject.

For lighter reading check out Wendy from Let the Dog In, she has organized a little get together at the Seattle Aquarium today because she couldn’t make it to the Method Party. I know I’ll be reading…to gage what I’m in for. Carrie from Growing a Baby in Seattle was at the Method party and she was adorable and  she just had her baby three months ago. I don’t know about you but I love reading first time mom blogs. It reminds me that things could be worse! Carrie seems to be figuring it all out more rapidly than I did.

Happy Weekend Everyone!

And as a little teaser for my Northwest Nightlife Column…I’m going to Ben Lee at Neumo’s Crystal Ball and Reading Room with Hola Isabel Monday the 5th.  If you see us there say hi! If you’re not going you can live vicariously through me in Tuesday’s column where I’ll be reliving it.

Thanks for the links. It’s always good to show our support.

And here’s hoping I can stay up late enough tonight to make it to see Ben Lee.

(I’m going to spend today listening to only Ben Lee on my iPod. Yummy.)
