It’s me again, on the search for bloggers that write. I’m noticing that many of you have not been posting this week, that means it’s been a busy week for many of us in the Northwest, or that we just didn’t feel like blogging. Either way, I feel you.
So who has made time for blogging about their busy lives?
I stopped by to read Melodee of Actual Unretouched Photos…I must admit I’ve been lurking on her site now and again since I first started blogging last year. Melodee has teenagers, and youngers, and neighborhood children coming and going from her home at all times of the day. What’s impressive is she still makes time for a morning walk most days of the week. This week Melodee writes about her lack of sympathy for phobias and drama. She is pragmatic-if you don’t know what that means, look it up. I did. If Melodee were on a ferris wheel with me, and I were screaming bloody murder (which often happens when I end up on a ferris wheel) she might lovingly tell me to “get over it.” I like how Melodee writes of her daily accomplishments, but in a way that doesn’t make you feel like a loser for not accomplishing yours. Stop by and read her tale of cleaning out the teenage wreck room.
I forgot where I was going with this…poured a truly putrid smelling organic fertilizer on her lawn, alienating neighbors, and family alike and causing her gardener to wretch on the driveway. To avoid the same mistake you may want to read which brand she used. While your there you can read her hateful letter to her ovaries…who appear to be playing some nasty tricks on her lately.
I heart Hola, Isabel for starting an I heart TV blog. I heart TV too. She wrote about a show that I stumbled on the other night, and found so unique and refreshing that I decided to Tivo it from then on. Isabel and her husband The King are currently remodeling a home in Seattle. She juggles work while raising her son Babboo and is as nervous about the coming seasonal depression as I am. Can there never be sun in Seattle? Also don’t skip here post on her experiences with adoption. It was a very touching well written piece.
That’s it for this week. Write People! The more you write the more juice I have to review.
Haha! Sometimes I worry if I write too much!! Another great round up!! Thank you!!
But it’s just so hard to write when I’m busy dreading the upcoming RAINY season!!
Great, round-up Eve… love these posts!!
Hey, thanks for the link!
