Tonight (Aug 12) and tomorrow night are optimal viewing times to see the Perseids meteor shower. Assuming, of course, that the sky stays relatively cloud-free (keep your fingers crossed)! So, if you want to expose your kids to a little astronomy, or have a romantic liaison with your significant other, tonight’s the night!
See more info about the meteor shower here.
For optimal viewing pleasure:
Find an open area without a lot of trees or buildings to obstruct your view of the night sky. The best place to look is wherever the sky appears darkest. Don’t forget to dress warm, and be patient!
